Archival education and training

Cooperation and coordination 

The archive maintains a close exchange with the university archive of the ETH library, other archives and private service providers. In coordination with the Association of Swiss Archivists (ASA), it conducts courses on the topics of business archives, digitization, electronic long-term archiving, as well as outreach and public relations. Deputy Director Daniel Nerlich has served as board member (2007-2013) and vice president (2013-2016) of ASA. Since 2007 he is president of its external pageWorking Group Business Archivescall_made.

The archives regularly provides lecturers for the following training and continuing education courses:

- Basic and advanced courses of the Association of Swiss Archivists (VSA).
- Postgraduate courses in archive, library and information science at the Universities of Bern and Lausanne
- Association Memoriav
- Association of German Business Archivists e.V. (VdW)
