Foundation Archives of Contemporary History

“«The Foundation Archives of Contemporary History promotes the long-term safeguarding and expansion of the Archives of Contemporary History at ETH Zurich as a documentation and research center for general and Swiss contemporary history.»”
Purpose of the Foundation

Activity

The Foundation of Susanne and René Braginsky, established in 2006, promotes the acquisition and continuation of the property Hirschengraben 62, thus securing the working basis of the Archive of Contemporary History and its specialized departments.

It makes the property available to ETH Zurich for use by the Archive of Contemporary History. It makes the necessary arrangements with the ETH for renting the property and for covering the operating and maintenance costs.
